Can My Stomach Burst?

Open Day 2011

On 23 February, it was once again - The WG opened the door, to present themselves to the prospective high school students in the region at its best. A large number of volunteers - students, parents, teachers - took part in it, to present results from teaching and working groups to present and alive. Interested parents of 4th-graders were not-in the auditorium of detailed information on the opportunities, possibilities and the school's profile. After they were given the opportunity to look around the school building to visit the specialist and classrooms and talk to subject teachers on the topics of the subjects. The students, however, were in groups of 10th-graders led around, was at various stations presented, shown, informed and invited to get involved. In the gym he had the opportunity to go canoeing on dry ground, rushing around with "roller-skis" or to try on a hockey match. The physics came up with a shining green cathode ray tube, was in chemistry experiments with liquid nitrogen and pulverized gummy bears in the flame. The laboratory attracted followers of computer facilities, while puzzle freaks could indulge in the virtual whiteboard in their hobby. The biology inspired with plastic models of the human body and its parts, the kids were first anatomical study to gain experience. But even at the (supposedly) living object was practiced on the dummy were attempts at resuscitation under the supervision of the WG paramedics carried out.

we hope that we could inspire some students to further engage with our school. Perhaps we may even welcome some of them soon as WGler.
